The Breast Health Center at Kent Welcomes St. Peter School Students

Warwick, RI – The students at St. Peter School in Warwick love a “Dress Down Day”, a day when they are allowed to wear non-uniform clothes to school in exchange for a small donation to a charity. The most recent “Dress Down Day” took on a pink glow when the students, faculty and staff dressed down to support the The Breast HealthCenter at Kent Hospital. The students on the school’s outreach committee visited the The Breast Health Center at Kent recently and presented the staff with a $360 check. The students also gave each caregiver a small treat as well as a copy of the “Caregivers Prayer.”

“Kent Hospital would like to thank the students, teachers and parents from St. Peter School for their kindness and generosity,” said Jim Beardsworth, director of public relations at Kent Hospital. “The spirit of giving and community support demonstrated by these students should be commended as they too work to give back to our community. Kent thanks you.”
